Sarah Bastian
Play Leader
Sarah has worked at the Playgroup for four years and has been our Playleader since September 2007. As well as holding her NVQ 3 in childcare and Eary Years Foundation Stage training, she is also qualified in Paediatric First Aid, Makaton, Learning Language and Loving it and Child Protection. Sarah is also our Special Educational needs co-ordinator. 
Jo Foreman
Play Assistant
As well as being our Playgroup Assistant Jo is a qualified childminder with an NVQ 3 in childcare. Jo also has a wide range of training and is our Equal Opportunities Officer and Snack monitor. Jo also holds qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Makaton, Early Years Foundation Stage, Learning Language and loving it and Child protection 
Michele Jackson
Play Assistant
Michelle is also our Playgroup Assistant. Michelle holds an NVQ 2 in childcare and is our Food Hygiene certificate holder. Michelle also holds qualifications in Paediatric First Aid, Makaton, Early Years Foundation Stage, Learning Language and loving it and Child protection
" We love working at Manaccan Pre-School Playgruop. You can sense the lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk through the gate. We really enjoy working with the children and would not want to do any other job.
The children enjoy our fantastic garden area with our willow teepee (they like playing witches and dragons in it). We all love it when we have gloop out! Playdough (home made, from natural materials by Michelle) is another favourite and making big tracks in the sand. The children also love painting, especially outside.
We have two fish and eight stick insects which the children look after. We feel like a big family here at Manaccan and everybody feels at home."
